O vánočních trzích v Manchesteru se dozvíte, i když jste od Manchesteru daleko, takže když jste Manchesteru blízko, dva týdny sledujete předpověď a když se konečně místo mráčku s deštěm objeví mráček se sluníčkem, kupujete jízdenku na autobus a vyrážíte.
You can hear about how great the Manchester Christmas Markets are even when you are far away from there, so when you are close to Manchester, you keep checking the weather forecast for two weeks and when it finally says it probably will not rain or it will rain for two hours, you buy a ticket and go.
Stánky se otevírají v deset hodin, takže jsme přijeli do Manchesteru už ráno s tím, že si prohlédneme i město. Po krátké poradě nad ranním cappucinem jsme vyrazily směr centrum a trhy.
The markets open at 10am so we arrived to Manchester in the morning because we planned to wander around the city a bit. After a short brainstorming over a morning coffee we headed to the city centre and the markets.
Centrum je prostě pecka, ale o tom až někdy příště, trhy jsou rozmístěné na několika místech a tak najdete vánoční atmosféru za každým rohem. Je to taková vánoční klasika a chvílemi jsme si připadaly jako v Německu, haha. Za mě jsou tyhle vánoční trhy určitě dobrým tipem na návštěvu :).
The city centre is simply fab, but we'll talk about that later, there are several markets on different streets so you can feel the Christmas atmosphere behind every corner. Sometimes, surrounded by the stands and Christmas lights, we felt like we're in Germany, haha. For me, these markets are definitelly a great place to visit in winter :).
